About Promise Bears
Where it all started.....
Promise Bears, like all Kingdom initiatives, started with the seed of an idea – a God idea – design a range of Teddy Bears bearing the gospel message of hope to spread around the nations of the world. The good ideas fade over time, but the God ideas do not and as I prayed into this, the idea began to grow.

The design phase...
The design for the bears and the messaging was really important. They needed to be classic teddy bears and to be attractive to people of all ages. As the Bears spread the good news of the gospel – the promises of God to His people – it was vital that the Bears reclaim the rainbow and this was to be a major part of the design concept. In addition, the bears must share words from the Bible – the living word of God.
The Power of the Message....
As the Bears were to bring God's truth to His people, each bear had to bring a verse from the Bible to encourage and strengthen their new owners and to spread the good news of the gospel. The verses were prayed over and carefully selected to speak God's love into their new owner's lives.
Bringing the Bears to life....
As a Kingdom initiative, the bears must be made with excellence. Designed in the UK, the Bears all conform to UK and European Safety standards and are all suitable for children 3 years and over. The bespoke range is made from high quality plush material and each bear is clearly labelled to show their compliance.
The Initial Range.....
The initial range consists of seven, 40cm high, bespoke teddy bears each wearing a different coloured T shirt in the seven colours of the rainbow – God’s promise to His people. The T shirts are printed front and back with a verse based on scripture clearly printed on the reverse side. The T-shirts are removable and interchangeable and can be purchased separately to the bears.
And Here They Are.......
Twelve months later and the Promise Bears are ready to go on assignment. Each Bear has a unique mission to bring hope to God’s people - young and old – a message of love, joy , peace, courage, faith (belief), hope or trust. Before delivery, all our bears are prayed over to bring healing, freedom and deliverance for all their new owners. Acts 19:11-12 tells how handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched Paul's body were used to heal the sick and cast out evil spirits. We believe that these bears carry the presence of the Holy Spirit to bless each household they enter.
